The epidermal peel solutions used at SKIN MediSpa are the most technically researched, results-oriented formulations available today and contain a unique blend of lactic acid, glycolic acid and salicylic acid to improve acne, skin surface texture, superficial scarring and reduce oil plugs that cause blackheads. Other active ingredients are added depending on the specific peel procedure chosen, along with hydrating and nutrients in an aloe vera base. All formulations are free of dyes, colour additives, synthetic fragrances, comedogenic oils, waxes and other ingredients that are known to cause irritation or sensitivity.

Glo enzyme: This mask exfoliates using fruit enzymes(papaya and pineapple) and 5%salicylic acid to help break down dead cells for smoother skin. It also contains antioxidants and anti bacterial properties (pomegranite and cranberry)to treat  oily skin with few breakouts. Glo enzyme clarifies and reduces oiliness and can be used prior to  a peel for extra exfoliation. This treatment is also ideal for dry, dehydrated skin with acne .

Glo lactic 15%: A treatment that offers exfoliating and moisturizing properties using 15% lactic acid to remove surface dead skin and blueberry and bilberry extract to  strengthens capillaries. It promotes softer skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines. The perfect choice for skin with mild to moderate acne, sun damage, and even mild rosacea.

GloSalicylic 30%: This antiseptic exfoliant deeply cleanses pores using 30 % salicylic acid and cranberry extract. It is ideal for skin types with mild to moderate acne, mild rosacea, or rough skin that requires over all rejuvenation.

GloGlycolic 30%: This peel promotes the repair and regeneration of the skin, helping to eliminate actinic keratosis and improves the appearance of aging skin and uneven texture and tone. It uses 30% glycolic, phytic, and citric acid and also contains bilberry and raspberry fruit extract.

GloGlycolic 60%: A more aggressive, deeper peel which promotes repair and regeneration of the skin and helps with both the texture and treatment of Sebohoric and actinic keratosis. It improves the look of aging skin using 60% glycolic phytic and citric acid and bilberry and raspberry fruit extract for their antioxidant and anti inflammatory benefits.

Glomodified Jessner 14%: A combination of effective alpha and beta hydroxy acids to reduce the appearance of melasma , acne and mild rosacea, while hydrating the skin. This peel combines 14% Lactic, 14% salicylic, and 14 % resorcinol as well as containing free radical scavenger (antioxidants) to protect collagen structure.

GloTCA 15%: A medium depth peel that helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and enhance skin tone. It can also help with superficial scarring(acne) sun damage and finer wrinkles by using  15% TCA(trichloracetic acid) , vigna seed extract for stimulating collagen activity and cell renewal, and phytic and pyruvic acid for their anti oxidant and hydrating benefits.

AlphaBeta 17%: This treatment helps to brighten and lessen appearance of discoloration while clearing acneic lesions. Using a combination of alpha and beta AHA's 17 % glycolic,17%Lactic, 17% Salicylic acids as well as a combination of 3 brightening and lightening ingredients this peel helps to even out skin tone.

GloTriplex: This treatment helps to enhance skin tone and texture while  purifying blemish prone and congested skin. It combines 30% glycolic , 10% TCA and 10% salicylic acids, and also contains mushroom extract to assist in reducing pore size .

Vitalize Peel
The Vitalize Peel uses a special formulation that includes a unique blend of alpha-hydroxy and beta-hydroxy acids, resorcinol, and retinoic acids that is only available from a physician. Epidermal Back Peel

"Baby Feet" Foot Peel
This three step treatment is excellent on its own or combined with your favourite SKIN Pedicure. Starting out with a mild exfoliation of the upper layers of the skin, the Pre-Peel Accelerator Mask is applied to prepare the treatment area for the peel solution. Depending on the condition of the heel and sole area, 3 to 5 layers of peel solution are applied. The solution does not hurt or burn, but may feel a little "tingly". This treatment duo is formulated with potent yet skin-friendly ingredients, along with nourishing components to soften and hydrate the skin's surface. TCA, lactic and salicylic acids join together to affect dramatic changes in the skin's appearance and texture.

The underside of your feet will appear normal for several days, until the sloughing begins. Soaking your feet or taking a long shower will facilitate the removal of several layers of dead skin from soles of the feet. There is no discomfort associated with this peeling process and once it is completed, you won't believe how smooth and young your feet will look and feel!
