What is the eMatrix?

The eMatrix™ system with Syneron’s unique Sublative Rejuvenation™ treatment employs RF energy to go beyond fractional methods for skin resurfacing. The RF energy causes mild ablation, eliciting an accelerated healing response.  Fine lines, wrinkles and superficial skin discoloration are reduced, and skin texture becomes more smooth and elastic. How does Sublative Rejuvenation work?

The energy is delivered beneath the surface of the skin, maximizing collagen production with minimal disruption to the exterior of the skin. When can I expect to see results?

Following treatment you may notice improvements in your skin’s tone and texture as a result of increased levels of collagen and the production of new healthy skin cells.  With the treatment's dermal impact, mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations are reduced. Typical treatment plans consist of 3 or more treatments, 4 - 6 weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the condition of your skin.

How will I tolerate Sublative Rejuvenation treatments?

During treatment, you may feel a warm, prickly sensation as energy enters your skin. After treatment a pink or red "sunburn" appearance and feeling is also common. Topical anesthetic ointments and cooling are often used to reduce any discomfort during treatment.
