Spider veins, or telangiectasias, are unsightly small red, blue, or purple veins that appear on the face and legs and tend to "branch-out" from a central point resembling a spider. They may also appear as simple linear, separate lines. Although these tiny veins are connected with the larger venous system, they are not an essential part of it.
SKIN MediSpa offers the most effective treatment program for the elimination of broken capilliaries, telangiectasia, spider veins and vascular lesions of the face and legs.
A SKIN specialist will review previous and current skin care, perform a detailed skin analysis, and discuss general health history before recommending a customized treatment program.
A treatment program will be recommended after your initial skin assessment and may be modified during the course of your treatments to address individual skin responses to the program. The specific treatments within this recommended program will include some or all of the following:
- SKIN Laser Spider Vein Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to selectively treat spider veins up to 3mm in diameter as well as generalized redness. The procedure usually requires 15- 20 minutes and patients can return to regular activity immediately following treatment. Veins usually respond well to SKIN's laser therapy and few treatments are required to eliminate their appearance. Post treatment care will be advised during the treatment session and will optimize results.

- SKIN Sclerotherapy Treatments involve the injection of a mild sclerosing solution into the affected veins that cause these veins to collapse and be absorbed by the body. Treatment usually lasts between 15 and 45 minutes. Learn more...
Most patients see a significant improvement in the visible appearance and general discomfort of their spider veins. Results are based on each client's individual skin characteristics, as well as the treatments chosen.
As individual programs will vary from client to client, the associated cost will vary as well. However, a quote will be provided during the initial assessment process.
See our price list for individual treatment costs.
